Dias Felizes Art Print (12 x 18 in)

One of my many obsessions is hand or eye motifs and i’m a big fan of all the Mexican tin decorations that these feature heavily in.

While travelling through Portugal, I designed this positive print in a folk art style. I chose the blue and white colour combination as a gentle nod to traditional Portuguese tiles. I will make these illustrations into a ceramic version one day.

The words translate to ‘happy days’ which I’m sure we can all agree, everyone would like more of.
